Originally from Chicago, Alice is a graduate of Dartmouth College and USC film school.
Alice has been nominated for 7 Emmys as producer on IFC’s Portlandia and Documentary Now! She joined Portlandia as an intern in its first season and ended the series as an Executive Producer and occasional director.
Alice’s directing credits include Portlandia, The Lonely Island's Netflix sketch series I Think You Should Leave with Tim Robinson (SNL and Detroiters) and Charlie Brooker's Death to 2020 for Netflix.
Alice has developed, written, or directed various projects with producing partner Fred Armisen, under their banner "Antigravico." Their collaborations include the critically acclaimed HBO Spanish-language comedy series Los Espookys (starring Julio Torres, Ana Fabrega, and Fred), Julio Torres' upcoming HBO standup special My Favorite Shapes and Fred’s Grammy-nominated Netflix standup special Standup for Drummers. Alice is also a producer of Aidy Bryant's Hulu series Shrill.
As a commercial director, Alice works with Caviar’s Gifted Youth. She has directed spots for TJ Maxx, Apple, Nike, Little Caesars, Toyota, Frito-Lay, Warby Parker, Planned Parenthood, and Secret Deodorant and The NFL (leading up to the 2017 Super Bowl.)
